However, it cannot open or import PageMaker files. As far as I know the only programs that can open or import PageMaker files are InDesign and some versions of QuarkXPress. Sometimes even PageMaker has problems opening PageMaker files. All three of those programs are proprietary and expensive. You might Google to see if there is an online conversion utility. Failing that, see if you can find someone who has PageMaker. Once you have the file opened in PageMaker (or imported into InDesign or QuarkXPress) the text can be exported as RTF or Word DOC format, and the images can be saved as vector or bitmap image files. You'll have to recreate the layout, but at least you'll have all the pieces.
