Charity shops are reputed to have these available - presumably often used ones.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, blind people apparently retain a need for them. The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) will sell you C60s and C90s by post. They appear to have a shop at their premises in Judd Street - http://tinyurl.com/RNIBJuddSt - where you may be able to obtain them over the counter.
