The headers use the same font as the rest of the document, and it is
there, though I did have to install it on the new computer.  

The headers are numbered, if that helps.  But what I get is the
character (arrows and dots), and then the number and text as it should
be.  Like I said, the characters are the ones present for the bulleted
lists -- but they were never set that way before, and I can't see
where they're set that way now.  

An unrelated matter -- I've always used gmane for this group, but now
every time I post, I get a notice from the mailing list that the post
is being moderated.  But the headers show it's posted through gmane.
Has there been some change to the process?  I'm so confused.  No
wonder I can't get this thing to work like I want it to anymore.  :-)
