Go to Tools---> Outline numbering. From here, you can set each heading style any way you want. I learned the hard way not to set up outline numbering any other way--even though OOo has commands that invite you to do that.--Mark

Hello,
I want to achive sth like that:

1
2.1
2.2
3
foobar
A
B

but I have sth like that (due to heading autonumbering feature)
1
2.1
2.2
3
4 foobar
5 A
6 B

for 1,3,foobar,A,B heading1 is used, for 2.1,2.2 heading2
my question is relatively simple:
Is it possible to have in outline numbers and letters or even whole words
mixed together?
I'm writing thesis, containing a lot of sections/chapters which are normally
numbered
(this works fine!) but at the end I must add some appendixes.
These appendixes should have the same style as heading1 except outline
format
(I want to disable for them autonumbering feature and
manualy enter their name without any numbers)
Could anybody help me with it?:)
Best regards,
