um. unless you are using pre-2.0 dev build, and have filled user info, document view should be restored if you are the last editor of the file.

issuezilla is slow as hell currently, i am not able to find the issue that had most of the history regarding war on this feature :)

I have read the FM, but since I don't know the term used for this
particular function, it's kind of hard to ask for it.  Doesn't seem
to be under "cursor", nor any obvious pace under "document."

This works, but I'd like to have the thing open at the proper place.

This may be a nasty work around. Have you consider using a bookmark until someone fixes this problem?
