This set of clues, and I know nothing about spreadsheets I didn't learn from dynacalc 2 decades ago, has all the trademarks of an overflow in the total cells output format. Its basicly being told to print only the hours and minutes in an XX:XX format, so its throwing away the day count (the carry if you will) when the total goes above 24 hours. Perhaps there is some way to edit the format of that cell to include a '#d ' figure in front of the hour:minute string? >Note that each of the cells being added is a sum of other cells.
