Heath, If memory serves, OOo doesn't support Works documents (but I don't have one handy to try it.) If you have MS Word, you can write a macro to search a directory and "Open|Save As" all the documents to a format that OOo does understand. RTF maybe? If you don't have Word, maybe something similar with MS Works would accomplish your goal.
