Hi! I'am a student from Sweden, using Open Office 2.0.2.
I have fallowed the instructions on how to download and install dictionaries but can't get it to work. I'am also kind of confused about the language settings in the application. The guide says that I should click edit and choose Swedish dictionaries, seems that I really should add one? Well, the interface is rather clumsy and confusing that's for shure. Not only that, when I use page styles and save in the .doc format and reopen them, the name of the styles have changed to "convert 1", "convert 2" and so on. That is not accepteble! I prefer to do both page layouts (newspaper style etc) as well as assay writings in applications like Quark och InDesign. The ONLY reason I want Open Office is compatibility with people how hasn't seen the light and still use MS Word. I don't get that compatibility with Open Office! I will trash your ap and buy MS Office.
