Hi CP, Thanks so much for answering! I'm using Open Office 2.0.2 on Windows XP. I have 512 MB ram. Today I have not had the problem I had all Thursday....don't know why! Nothing changed...maybe my computer was just grumpy on thursday? Who knows..I have given up trying to figure these things out.
However, first thing this morning I had a slightly different problem...when I tried to open a document by first opening the program (scalc) and then navigating to one of the other drives that the document lives on, I got a scary error message: "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" and then a bunch of Stop error codes. I talked to my computer person who suggested I disable Microsoft anti-spyware, and also remove Novell's client for Windows and use Windows' own client for Netware. I did that and so far no more problems today. But, you know, Monday is another day.....
