will try this later. But I guess, Im okay with this. I have other apps 
displaying my hebrew fonts nicely (Ezra SIL and also Tahoma).

I will also try this. This*was* my problem in the past. Pasting hebrew 
scriptures off the web using Firefox. The above procedures you mentioned solved 
it (Plus, changing my Encoding under Tools>Options>Load/Save>HTML 
Compatability).

I found a workaround here. I copy and pasted the text in KWrite, then saved the 
document as ODT. Then I fired up OOo and it displayed the text (with all the 
vowel pointings nicely laid out).

Now, if I can only do it directly in OOo Writer, the better.
