No the Del key itself doesn't seem to be the problem. Im using a laptop
so the keyboard is attached, and the key works fine with any other
program such as notepad, Thunderbird, even MS Works. Just with Writer
have I seen this problem. Would it be a problem with my version of OOffice?

Does this happen when you are in other programs such as notepad? Have you
tried other keyboards? Try unplugging and and replugging it in.

I am using version 2.0 of OpenOffice.org. I am finding that when I use
Writer it will not allow me to use the Del key. When I press it nothing
happens, and I have to move the cursor forward a space and use Backspace.
Have you heard of this problem before, or have any idea how to fix it?
