The question about Microsoft is whether you want OpenOffice.org
(OOo) to be your default office program for MS formatted files. It
usually is important only for those who already have MS Office
installed and want MS Office to open when they click a MS Office file
(.doc, .xls, ppt, ...). If you have MS Office on your computer, you
probably should not check any of these boxes. If you do not have MS
Office installed, it will not hurt to check these boxes.
Yes, it is save to uninstall OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 and OOo Extra.
However, you may want to have both 1.1.5 and 2.0.3 on your system. I
have 1.1.4 and 2.0.3 both on my system although I am finding that I
use 1.1.4 less and less as time goes by.
