Colleagues
In June, Daniel Konieczny provided a solution to the problem of the
default template being reset whenever he restarted OOo. That solution
applied to 2.0.2 which had a defined path for templates (and his
solution involved deleting one of the defined paths). I have the same
problem in 2.0.3, but this version only has paths for: Backups, Gallery,
Graphics, Documents and Temporary Files, so I don't know what path is
used for Templates
To recap the problem ... if I choose a new template as a default, it
comes up as the default as long as I am in the same OOo session.
However, if I close OOo and restart it, the default template reverts to
the previous selection.
I have 2 questions:
1. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
2. Where are templates stored and is it possible to add and remove
templates by copying them into their default folder (or does it have to
be done through File - Template - Organize - Commands - Import)
Thank you in advance for any help with this.
