Why is this? How do I create a prepackaged slide master? I think I found the answer below... > However, that is NOT how you are suppose to add a slide master to a > presentation. > To add a slide master to a presentation: I think I figured out how to fix the "Available for Use" under "Task Pane"=>"Master Pages". Using the steps you sent I think I was able to create a "prepackaged slide master"... 1a) Start with blank presentation. > 1b) Format > Slide Design > 2) Click Load button (bottom right). > 3) Click the appropriate Category (My Templates, Presentations, > Presentation Backgrounds). > 4a) Click the appropriate template in the Templates list. 4b) *** Check "Delete unused backgrounds" *** > 5) Click OK. 6) Click "File"=>"Templates"=>"Save..." 7) Give the Template a Name and save it. 8) Move the template from your home directory to the global templates directory. 9) Restart OpenOffice and I can now click on the template in the "Available for Use" area. I'm guessing there is a bug with having multiple backgrounds inside a template. Maybe someone can alert the developers to this bug. -- Dean Montgomery Network Support Tech./Programmer School District #73 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
