Any suggestions? regards, sven Your message is a little short on information, so I will guess that you are running some version of Windows and you have successfully downloaded OOo (OpenOffice.org). In which case, you will now have a file on your computer named something like: "OOo_2.2.0_Win32Intel_install". This is the OOo installation program and you now need to "run/open" it to start the program installation. When the installation process is finished, you will find the OOo programs in your "Start -> All Programs or Programs" menu. The "white screen to write my stuff on" ;) will appear, if you select "OpenOffice.org Writer" from that menu. OOo does not create desktop icons, if you want those you can create your own desktop shortcuts. You may also like to read the installation instructions here: http://download.openoffice.org/common/instructions.html and the setup guide here: http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/index.html Since your message appears to originate from Norway, you may also find this page useful: http://no.openoffice.org/index.html Hope this helps.
