The rest of the story:
   
  As Richard told you
  When you click on the Start button (lower left part of the screen), and
point to Programs.
   
  Once Programs opens, slide your mouse down to OpenOffice. While you're 
holding your mouse there, an additional box will open with a list of the 
OpenOffice programs: Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math, Writer. Choose what you 
wish by LEFT clicking on it.

You responded to me personally, instead of the list. I don't mind, but 
unfortunately I don't know what to suggest next. I'm replying to the 
list, with a cc to you. It will be helpful in the future if you address 
any additional communication to the list, since there are a very large 
number of people who will read your replies, not just me.
