If the only thing the recipients need to do is view the
spreadsheet, what I would suggest is exporting the desired portion
of the spreadsheet to a pdf file. (Highlight the area you want them
to see, then select File > Export as PDF; then when the second
dialog comes up, click "Selection" to have only the selected area
exported.)
Alternatively, you can save you file as an Excel file (File > Save
as), and then delete the parts that the users won't be needing.
However, since you mentioned that the users can currently see your
Excel spreadsheets but with a bit of adjustment to the printing, I
would still go back to recommending a pdf. That shouldn't require
printing adjustments on the users' end.
