Hi, I've been trying to find out how to how get multiple footnote references point to the same footnote text. I want to do this in cases where the same footnote is referenced on one page (5 pieces of text with exactly the same content at the bottom of a page doesn't seem very "professional" to me). Right now I am cheating through the use of superscripts, but it is a nuisance to maintain them when parts of the document get moved to other pages. When the footnote references get split over multiple pages I'd like to have one instance of that footnote text per page, so my readers won't have to keep flipping pages.
Could anyone please teach me how to achieve what I want (if it is possible)? Thanks in advance for your help!
