Do you mean absolutely nothing at all? Or, the cursor moves to another cell, for example? Are you entering new text into a previously empty cell? Or trying to edit an existing cell? If the latter, did you do hit the F2 key and do Ctrl-Enter *within* the actual cell itself? Or, were you doing Crtl-Enter in the upper formula field? If the latter, it won't work.
