Hi
I assume that you have set this up in the footer by >Insert >Footer
>default and then within the footer >Insert >Fields >Page number.
Could you please check one of the OpenOffice settings for me. Please go
to Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org Writer/OpenOffice.org Writer/Web -
View and look to see if the Field codes on that screen is ticked. Please
untick it and then OK the changes. This should then display your page
number as opposed to the name of the field
