If one multiplies "4 times 12.5#" , one gets "50#". Thanks > again, Richard > > I really don't mean to be rude but this is nonsense. Apart from saying "three possible combinations" and then listing four, the combinations do *not* represent numbers according to any sensible pattern.
Does "1/25#" mean 25? If not, what? Does "10/5#" mean 5? If not, what? Are you saying that anything between the "/" and the "#" is to be multiplied by 4? Please *define* i.e. specify the rule for identifying the piece of the text in column G that is to be interpreted as a number and then multiplied by 4. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to users@openoffice.org
