I believe that I have the most current version of Java. I checked the Add-Remove Programs listing & this is what I have:
Java 6 Update 2 Java 6 Update 3 Java SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1 I downloaded version 2.3.0. When I install Open Office, will the installer install an older version of Java or not install Java at all? Does the install program check to see if Java is installed & what version? This is why I'm hesitant to install Open Office, although, I'll admit, I'm anxious to try it out. Thank you. David
