Thank you for your response. This below is a link that will show you and all others just how many are selling Open Office as a download, (Digital delivery). LINK: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=open+office&category0= http://search.ebay.com/open-office_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQfromZR40QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ33QQsbrsrtZd OK, I do know that It is entirely legal to sell Open Office. Many vendors sell a CD for a nominal amount and provide a valuable service for those who cannot download Open Office. Others charge more and may offer other benefits. There are these, who charge for a download link and they are providing no value over what's available for free from www.openoffice.org. Open Office is available as a free download from www.openoffice.org and may be distributed to others. If someone is distributing Open Office, they are supposed to advise users that Open Office binaries and source are available from www.openoffice.org, as per the instructions on: http://www.openoffice.org/about_us/OEM_and_CD.html .These who do sell Open Office as a download provide no help what so ever and I think that this is very wrong. There are many that have contributed to make Office what it is today and what it will be in the future for all others. To just resell a download is not fair to all those that have worked so hard in the past as well as for all those that will keep on doing so well into the future. Only we as in my self and those at Open Office can help put a stop to the selling of Open Office on eBay. I myself am working on this and really feel that those involved there at Open Office could help as well. This is a link to eBay [EMAIL PROTECTED] I feel that only the backers that get involved with this can help put a stop to the downloads on eBay that do not help all involved in the Open Office community. Thanks for your time. Mr. L.D. Brewer [EMAIL PROTECTED] 10/28/2007 To: users@openoffice.org
