[users] I cannot recover a lost file URGENT

I am using version 1.1 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is:
   
  I typed two pages of a an open office document, and the program encountered 
an error and had to close. When I tried to reopen the program, the file still 
said it encountered a problem and had to close. Is there any way to recover 
this file?
