Has anyone here succeeded in getting this extension to work. I have
tried adding it to several OOo installations (Linux and Windows) and
while it shows up as enabled in the extensions manager, nothing is added
to the menu to make it accessible. All other extensions are working
fine, so what am I missing here?

TIA

Dave
Hi Dave,
Yes, I have the same problem. I installed it with no trouble and it
shows up
as being enabled in the extensions manager but like you I can't see
any way
to actually use it. I'm using OO2.3 with Debian/Lenny.
Frustrating, isn't it.
Cheers,
Jonathan
Have used it under XP and Kubuntu with OO.o 2.3, it is found at

Tools>Addons>Creative Commons>Select License

Yes, I am aware of were it "should" appear, but of the five
installations (3 Linux distros + 2 Win XP) I have added this extension
to, nothing gets added to the "Tools" menu.

NOTE - Please read the comment I made at the extension site...

It will crash the applicaton if you select "insert license', it will
actually insert the data if you select "Select License".

Also, note that it will over write any data in the first two User Info
fields in the document information.

Drew

Your cautionary comments are noted, but the extension needs to be
accessible first.

Dave
Hi Dave,

Well, that is just weird. It is implemented as a jar file, so perhaps it has something to do with your installation of Java?
