I'm sure you're correct Joe, but how hard can it be to inspect the page setup (Format>Page>Page) and the physical position of the envelope slot relative to the page width? To that add a little practice with a blank sheet of paper, as suggested by Mike Scott, and lo, there is no problem, only a solution.
