I just tested OOo 2.3.1 from linux to an MP750 Canon printer via the standard CUPS driver and was able to easily print multiple copies (5 pages of the same in this case). I then tried from a Windows system using Windows OOo 2.3.1 connected across my network, and again it printed multiple copies.
