Seems this could be done on the web page. I know Norton/Symantec does this.
Different product; different support area. OO.o could do that for each of
it's components, and after one joins one list, they could opt in and opt out
of other lists as needed because their information is already there. But
I'm sure that's far too much to ask. <grin>

About the only thing that could be done, would be tagging at source. This
means whenever someone write a message, they'd have to say Writer or
whatever. The only alternative would be separate lists for each component
and a general list too.

Speaking of tests and eMails.... I wish there could be a way to sort
through the eMails. I don't use any of the components except Writer.
Not that I wouldn't, but I just haven't found a real use as yet. Almost
did with the database, but I didn't use it in the long run. I'd prefer
receiving only eMails that pertain to Writer. I know that everything
imaginable comes through now, and I'm sure they are important... but I
personally don't need them.
I would be great to be able to have the rest filtered out and only the
eMails pertaining to Writer coming through to me. Of course, with
nothing in the Subject line to absolutely separate them, i.e. "[Writer]
How do I change font colors?" or [Base] How do I.....
Seems like there should be a simple solution, but not that I can do.
