I don't believe the file converter wizard will convert from the default OpenOffice (ODF) files to Microsoft Office. There are a couple of ways to handle this.

1) Load the file into OpenOffice and then re-save into Microsoft Office format. 2) Install the Sun ODF plugin, so that Microsoft Office can work with ODF files.
