This is my second post re this issue, no one it seems had an answer that
read my last, in desperation I try again.
When a text document is auto saved to a file server it takes an abnormal
time to do. The progress bar at the bottom does not immediately show the
save and the system freezes while it "thinks". Once the progress bar
shows the progress of the save, the save is quick.
When a manual save is done, via the save icon, the progress bar shows an
immediate response shortening the save time considerably.
PLEASE why is this happening, is this autosave made to the file server
or local drive, if file server, can this be done locally, in case OOo is
not able to function appropriately on the network.
