lol, no problem w/r to your following up.

Yes, the original issue's number was given and I did check it. I
disagreed that it was the same thing, but then I'm just a user so wasn't
given much weight w/r to opinions. In fact, a followup mail went
unanswered. I'll have to look up any further details.

To be honest, since that was on version 2.3, once 2.4 seemed to have at
least made a bad situation merely annoying, I quit checking the status
and no longer have the issue numbers, never suspecting it to extend to
something like Master Document Mode.  You might have a point though;
I'll check my archives and see what I can come up with.
To be bluntly honest, I'm not inclined to start a new issue
regardless because, besides being a newbie to the process, I did a lot
of work to be sure I wasn't duplicating anything and failed anyway
because IMO of syntax. It took an inordinate amount of time working
through the process properly which was disappointing. But that part is
my problem; sorry about the vent.
I will check my archives to see what I can find though. As before,
this current problem seems to be only appearing for me so if I'm alone
in the problem, it shouldn't be reported either; which is one of the
things I hoped to hear about. There must be others trying to use Master
Documents, especially as improved over anyone else's capabilities as OOo
is.

I no longer consider OOo to be an MS Office "replacement". It has
surpassed that and stands on its own merits now. IMO at least. But ...
as with all code ... <g>.

Regards,

Twayne
