Thanks James.
The File > Send > E-mail as Microsoft Word works fine.
But I usually attach also spreadsheets to my emails.
And somehow I cannot change that from OpenOffice to MS Office.
Is there a way of doing that, so that I can explain briefly, to the
recipients, how they can open them when they do not have
OpenOffice/StarOffice themselves?
Of course, I will suggest them to switch :-)
Thanks a lot!
That e-mail method works exactly the same way in Calc, to send Excel
spreadsheets. Of course, once you're composing the email, you can
attach any other files you wish. As I mentioned in the other note,
those people can open ODF files in Microsoft Office, by installing the
Sun ODF plugin or by installing OpenOffice themselves. They can have
both OpenOffice and Microsoft Office on the same computer.
Sun ODF Plugin:
