Brian,
Yes! That did get it. I was using Draw as an "object" in a Writer
document and so, did not have this option.
Thanks very much.

I am currently running OO.o 2.4.1 under Slackware Linux. I am trying

state to use Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org Draw > Grid. My

list! Neither do I have an "OpenOffice.org Impress" option.
How do I get the Draw and Impress options so I can make these grid
changes?
The items you see in the left panel of Tools | Options... are
context-dependent: they are relevant to the document you currently
have visible. Start a Draw or Impress document (as appropriate), and
you will see the items that you need.
I trust this helps.
