They don't provide a logical, visible link, such as a footnote does, from the main text to the side text. I'm still trying to figure out how Andrew did that in his file, so I can insert my own. Also, somebody mentioned the frames aren't good across pages and for large documents. I'm looking at a very large document. I've also shied away from tables for main text, but I may have to make an exception here. If I can't get that logical link, seems tables would do as well as frames, would they not? Except that frames avoid having the main text inside a table. Thanks!
