Moving to links that download immediately rather than provide the
mirror page is something I've considered doing a couple times since I
found out it was possible last year, but I've never actually got round
to doing it. If there are cases that the sometimes-confusing mirror
page links actually dont work in at all, then that would be further
reason to switch I think, even if in this case its the proxy that is
at fault.
