You can manually clear all references to the old profile by modifing the prefs.js file inside the profile folder. Delete all no longer referenced address book files and the contents of the cache folder. However, creating a new profile would probably be faster, more reliable and more secure. PS: I'd recommend taking a closer look into the prefs.js.
