Hello Julien,

install a local smtp-server, which relays to the smarthost. The local smtp server can do the auth against the smarthost with a single technical user and delivers the mails sent by sogo.

Examples:
http://www.dnsexit.com/support/mailrelay/postfix.html
http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/postfix-smtp-authentication-for-mail-servers/

From SOGo I think it is not possible to "route" the SMTP-AUTH directly per user (but maybe there is, I don't know).

Greetings,
  Martin

Hello,
We recently upgraded to sogo v2. Before that, our sogo was sending
e-mail via a smarthost with a whitelist.
We would like to change to use SMTP AUTH, far more secure.

But when trying to send a mail, Sogo authenticate with the username and
our server ask for the e-mil address as username. Is there a way to
change this ? Like the SOGoForceIMAPLoginWithEmail for IMAP.

Thanks for your answers,
Julien Escario
