I had the same issue. The cause 1 : a misconfigured user account (imap server wrong). After deleting this user with sogo-tool SOGo was up and running.

The cause 2: IE11 connecting to SOGo lost connection and the session keep hanging. After the user cleared the cache of the IE the issue was gone.

Thanks I'm trieing. As I'm not yet familiare with gdb, I do need some help.
