Dear Julien, Dear Sogo-Mailinglist,

thanks for your input. We didn't want, that our webmail users use the same imap credentials as they have in our internal network infrastructure. So we took the authentification mechanism of sogo to store different passwords. That means that the first account in the webmail was "just for authentification" (password backend mysql) and didn't have a running imap server behind. I corrected this that morning, configured a cyrus-imap server on the sogo-webmail server, and now it works. All folders of the additional imap-accounts are displayed with the content they have. That means, sogo can't display correctly additional imap-accounts when the first one in the list is not working. Probably this could be a bug?

The question for me now is, if the first account in the list can be hidden, because we just need that one for authentification.

But, thanks for your great and fast help, with your hints it's working now!

Kind regards
Michi

Just to clarify, I am a simple user of SOGo, deploying this solution for my

In bug tracker, you pointed out an error:
http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=3409#c9200

Before creating new IMAP accounts, I suggest you to make the login account
work (the first one in the list). Please delete auxiliary IMAP accounts.

Could you enable sogo and cyrus maximum debug logging and check what is
wrong ?

Dear Sogo-mailinglist,

I recently posted a bug in the sogo bug tracking system (http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=3409), but it's not clear if it's really a bug or a configuration issue. "databeille" told me to post our problem here on this mailing list.

Our sogo installation connects to a remote cyrus-Imap-server. Everything works well, but only the imap-folder contents of "Inbox" are shown in the sogo webmail interface. All folders do appear, but with nothing in it (also the trash, sent, drafts .. ). Directly connected via thunderbird or another webmail (eg squirrelmail) works fine. I'm not sure, but I think that worked before the upgrade from 2.2.x to 2.3.x. Now we're running 2.3.3a.

If I configure a second, additional imap account, there can't even the content of the Inbox folder be seen.

When a new folder is created, it looks like the part of the imapfolders on the webmail interface is somehow reloaded, and the mails in the sub folders were shown. Before creating this new folder, also drag-an-drop doesn't work from the inbox to anther folder (eg trash), after the folder "creation", drag and drops works fine.

We didn't find any errors in the logs, also the cyrus-imapserver doesn't complain about something. It just seems that sogo isn't asking for folder contents? Firefox, Chrome on Linux and Windows gives the same results.

Thanks for your help,
kind regards
Michi
