Anyone know how spamass-milter-postfix communicates with spamassassin?
There's a postfix socket, but no setting AFAICT for the milter to
reach SA. I gather that the mechanism may be through clamc, but I
have no proof that this is actually the case.
It seems that everyone is resigned to leaving spamassassin on a
tcp:port, which I don/t like for security reasons.
Note that spamass-milter-postfix is just the RHEL package for hooking
spamass-milter to Postfix, so you also need spamass-milter itself. The
command line for the spamass-milter program ends with ' -- [spamc
options]' which can include any options accepted by spamc for talking to
spamd. Config files for spamassassin, spamass-milter, and
spamass-milter-postfix should be in /etc/sysconfig/ and have variables
defined for the various command line options of each.
