how to no delivery msg if spamc failed

Hi 

I'm using spamassassin + qmail-scanner

There is a way to tell qmail-scanner or spamassasin to NOT delivery mail
if spamc failed? 

This is beecause sometimes my spamd daemon goes down and all spam
messages are passed...

Any ideas?
