Understood. It is mainly labeled as alpha because some new things are not finished (like the new bayesbdb backend to Bayes), and it would be nice to close some stale problem reports (almost all of them applicable to 3.2.5 too). Also the release notes still need to be written, and some packaging details polished. Old and proven (3.2.5-compatible) stuff should work just fine. The code is used in production at several sites.
