OK, I have a 'honeypot' email address that is collecting spam. the bayes mentioning local.cf settings (SA 3.3.1) are:
use_bayes 1 bayes_auto_learn 1 bayes_store_module Mail::SpamAssassin::BayesStore::SQL bayes_sql_dsn DBI:mysql:bayes:localhost:3306 bayes_sql_username user bayes_sql_password *password* bayes_sql_override_username user bayes_ignore_header X-Spam-Flag bayes_ignore_header X-Spam-Status and the honeypot address has a default user_prefs file with no lines uncommented. Does this mean that these messages are already feeding the global bayes? With these setting are ALL users necessarily using the global bayes or could some local accounts have their own bayes databases lurking in their ~/.spamassassin/ folders? -- 'I don't like to ask them questions.' 'Why not?' 'They might give me answers. And then what would I do?'
