That's fine, but you claimed that the second error message meant that your "Tortoise app is not supported by the subversion server software." However, that is not what it's trying to tell you. If you were mislead by the message, perhaps you could suggest how to improve it. What it's trying to tell you is that most likely you upgraded another Subversion client (e.g. TortoiseSVN or the SVN client) to a newer version without upgrading your AnkhSVN. And that you could visit http://ankhsvn.net/ to find out about newer AnkhSVN versions supporting this Working Copy.
