I would suggest to actually remove athe daemons and all installation JDK/JRE whenever possible, then clean up the JAVA_HOME, JRE_HOME, CLASSPATH, PATH variables from any related references. This may break other stuffs if your server have a lot of other things though. After that perform a clean installation, and take note whenever there's a request to elevate privilege (asking for Windows Admin password).
