Hi, I successfully installed tomcat version 8.0.21 and the main page comes u p using http://serverip:8080.
None of the buttons "Server Status", "Manager App", "Host Manager" allow access despite tomcat-users.xml was setup correctly. The Apache tomcat was stopped and restarted after any changes were made to tomcat-users.xml. I have tried all documentation including the following and none work: <role rolename="manager-gui"/> <user username="tomcat" password="s3cret" roles="manager-gui"/> Peter Walsh
