Context Dependency Injection with Tomcat 7.0 x / 8.0 x

Hi All,

I wanted to check if their is a way to do CDI with Tomcat for 7x and 8x
version as per JEE spec ?

I have a project for which I wanted to use CDI the way spring does it.

Appreciate if someone can suggest something.
