Hello Mark Thank you for your good help, Apache Tomcat 9.0.24 is working with a Hello World JSP tile now.
I could not find a 9.0.23 installation exe download, but I found a Apache-tomcat-9.0.20-windows-x64.zip, which I downloaded and extracted into the C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation folder, but the Tomcat9w.exe would not start Tomcat. And as I was not sure how to install Tomcat from a zip-file, so I decided to unstall / delete everything. And than I download a new Apache-tomcat-9.0.24.exe and installed it as an administrator and this time when I used Tomcat9w.exe Tomcat changed state from Stopped to Started and my HelloWorld.jsp file worked in the browser. Thanks very much for your help. Kind Regards Lars E. Andersen Mobil: 00351 914411785 Email: lea4...@gmail.com Hmm. That looks like a 64-bit JRE but the error you are seeing is only seen with 32-bit JREs. Can you try installing 9.0.23 and see if that works? If it does you can simply copy Tomcat9.exe from your 9.0.23 install and replace the version in 9.0.24 as a work-around.
