The APR libs are not enough for the APR connector. Have a look at

http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/apr.html

When Tomcat starts, I get:

INFO: The Apache Tomcat Native library which allows optimal performance

I have libapr1.so in /usr/lib, and I copied it to the above i386
directory, but Tomcat still does not see it.

How do I get Tomcat to see this. Or is it looking for something else?

Thanks,
