This bug report was incorrectly filed against httpd over three years ago, closed immediately, and then reassigned to Tomcat *without* being reopened, so it's highly unlikely anyone has looked at it since then. It's doubtful there will be any action on it now, especially if the problem is not reproducible on a current level. (5.5.9 is also over three years old, so there's not really any excuse for not having moved up sometime in that period.)
